5-in-1 Online NPS Calculator

The National Pension Scheme (NPS) is a voluntary, market-linked retirement scheme governed by the PFRDA. This 5-in-1 NPS Calculator enables investors to project total retirement corpus accumulated up to age 60, estimate monthly pension income, calculate additional tax savings under Section 80CCD(1B), and evaluate performance against PPF.

How the 5 Calculator Modes Work

1. NPS Calculator

Projects overall retirement corpus growth using your current age, monthly investment amount, and compounding interest rates up to superannuation at age 60.

2. Pension

Determines monthly annuity payouts and tax-free lump sum amounts (up to 60%) based on your annuity allocation percentage and expected annuity yields.

3. Returns

Calculates wealth gains by measuring total out-of-pocket contributions against total estimated market returns across equity and debt asset classes.

4. Tax Benefit

Computes direct annual tax savings available under Section 80CCD(1B) for up to ₹50,000 extra deductions beyond Section 80C limits.

5. NPS vs PPF

Compares market-linked compound growth of NPS against guaranteed returns of Public Provident Fund (PPF) over identical investment horizons.

NPS Mathematical Formulas

Corpus Accumulation: $A = P \times \left[\frac{(1 + r)^n - 1}{r}\right] \times (1 + r)$
Lump Sum Withdrawal (Max 60%): $LumpSum = Corpus \times (1 - Annuity\%)$
Monthly Pension: $Monthly\ Pension = \frac{Corpus \times Annuity\% \times Annuity\ Rate}{12}$
Where P = Monthly Contribution, r = Monthly Interest Rate, n = Total Months to Age 60
